Small Town Sanctuary
Located on the great Northwestern Slopes of the Rocky Mountains, we are minutes from Craig, Colorado, 'the heart of Moffat County', thirty minutes from Yampa Valley Regional Airport in Hayden, and one hour from Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
Craig is an outdoor enthusiast destination. We enjoy four seasons of outdoor recreation; hiking, camping, fishing, mountain biking, four-wheeling, golfing, rafting, paddleboarding, skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and much more! Our community enjoys every adventure you can imagine year-round.
In one day visitors can explore mountain or desert terrain. Routt National Forest, Sand Wash Basin, Axial Basin, Little Yampa Canyon Recreation Area, Steamboat Springs and Dinosaur National Monument offer incredible sites to see and even more to do!
Nightlife is abundant in both Craig and Steamboat featuring restaurants, pubs and clubs as well as breweries, distilleries, movie theaters and bowling.
Fly directly into Yampa Valley Regional Airport instead of Denver and you and your guests will enjoy a short drive to your celebration, instead of a 2-4 hour drive over mountain passes, completely avoiding the dreaded stop-and-go traffic.

Day Off Ranch is 114 acres of wide open space under a big blue sky with commanding views of the Rocky Mountains. Couples can choose from multiple ceremony locations for wedding photos with stunning 360 degree views of the western slopes. We recommend drone video for the most spectacular lifetime memories of your celebration.
Our venue is 3000 square feet and finished with distinguished black metal walls, floor to ceiling clear sliding doors and Edison bulb lighting. It can accommodate 200+ guests seated for dinner indoors and more on exterior covered and uncovered patios. A large patio overlooks the stunning sunsets of Cedar Mountain to the west, while a covered patio, outdoor bar and custom BBQ trailer serve guests to the east. Pendant heaters on the patio take the chill off cool evenings and two wood burning stoves heat the space for four seasons of indoor/outdoor weddings. Included are 25 round tables seating 10 guests each and chairs for 150 people as well as a catering space. Complete with commercial freezer, refrigerator and steam table, your caterer can serve a formal seated gourmet meal, a casual buffet or a classic Pit BBQ of smoked and grilled meats, fish and vegetables. Local vendors can stage to accommodate larger weddings at the ranch as well.
At Day Off Ranch plan your wedding both indoors and outdoors; sip cocktails on the covered patio, enjoy dinner inside the venue while the sun sets over Cedar Mountain, and dance the evening away under the stars on the patio. Roam the ranch all day with family and friends for a truly memorable event that commemorates the beginning of a whole new chapter in your life.
